From one island to another.
We have chosen to craft our chocolate with cacao beans from our neighbouring South Pacific islands. These beans are ethically grown on sustainable cacao farms. The farmers are continuously supported in business solutions to help them maintain their sustainable farming and business practices.
We take pride in supporting these communities.

Our bean-to-bar chocolate is crafted authentically, from our certified kitchen in the heart of Waiheke Island. From the moment the beans arrive at our door, the magic begins. We hand-sort, roast, crack, winnow, mill, and conch the beans slowly to build depth and smoothness, before tempering, moulding, and wrapping each bar with care.
It’s a process built on patience - the kind you learn from island time.

We make our chocolate FREE of palm oil, lecithin and gluten.
This bold 70% dark chocolate is pure, honest cacao - deep, smooth, and beautifully balanced. Handcrafted on Waiheke with Pacific Island beans, it delivers velvety richness with vibrant cherry and plum notes and a subtle, wine-like finish. A reflection of Waiheke’s stillness

This smooth, creamy 45% milk chocolate celebrates island life. Made in small batches with ethically sourced Pacific cacao, it melts into sweet caramel, vanilla, and malted milk for a velvety, nostalgic cocoa embrace. Moreish and comforting, every bite tastes like island paradise - a flavour journey that feels right at home.

This silky, nutty 60% dark chocolate is lifted with a whisper of sea salt, its smooth Pacific cacao wrapping around caramelised praline for a rich, moreish melt. Handcrafted in small batches to capture the feeling of Waiheke’s ocean air, beach days, and slow coastal afternoons, it offers a decadent retreat.

Our story.
We met as trained Pastry Chefs on Waiheke Island and worked well together for 14 years in the hospitality industry. We managed accommodation on Waiheke for 12 years, whilst having a successful wedding cake business and opening the famous Charlie Farley’s in Onetangi. After a break during covid, we had a desire to create something for ourselves again, and our family.
It had to be 'new' to Waiheke and shine alongside the stunning, award winning vineyards, restaurants, distilleries and artisnal products already showcasing Waiheke to the world.
Our family have proudly called Waiheke Island home since 1839. Whatever we chose, we knew we wanted to honour that, whilst complimenting the natural beauty and relaxed culture of Waiheke.
While we created the business plan, set-up and production methods, we are enjoying having our two daughters by our side; taking on marketing roles and helping to get our batch crafted bars to you!
